Sean was a proficient sailor and was well recognized by his crewmates and commanding officers. Everyone loved Sean. His smile was contagious and his knowledge about endless subjects made him a joy to be around.
Sean and Rachael shared a wonderful life together. From the moment they met to the birth of their daughters, it was clear their lives were meant to be intertwined. They loved the outdoors and could be frequently found exploring with their girls on the weekends.
Sean was a loving husband and father. He was constantly helping his wife attend to the needs of their two autistic girls. There could be no doubt of his love for his family. His attentive care to his girls' every need emanated the love of Jesus Christ.
We know that the support of friends and family can make a real difference for the Ellisons. There are many challenges that lay ahead for them. Rachael will now be the primary caretaker for Mary and Keyra, whose Autism Spectrum Disorder requires an acute level of devoted time and energy.
