Memorial Fund for Robyn Rose
My beautiful, quirky, kindhearted and sweet mother, Robyn Rose, passed away Sept. 12th early Wednesday morning, before sunrise. It was completely unexpected and due to a sudden massive heart attack. She stayed around long enough for those closest to her to be able to say good bye. I love her deeply and always will. She tried her best as a single mom to raise me and my brother in a terrible situation, and she did a wonderful job. She lived her life for others and helping others and that's where I got my kindness and strength from. She was always there for my brother and I, supported us through everything. She loved us no matter what, like any mother should, and she really was more than just a mother to us, but a mother to everyone around who needed it. She lended help, an ear, a meal, at any turn she could to someone who may have needed it. I am so proud of her for her work on herself and how much a kind, sweet human being she was.
There hasn't been much time to process and the hurricane hasn't made any of this easier. In fact its made it quite much harder to get anything done with arrangements for her and her affairs because everything is closed and does not open until next week. My brother and I cannot afford funeral costs so we need your help. We are still unsure of the exact amount we will need for the funeral but we are estimating at our best. Anything leftover will go towards the service and helping my brother and I out financially during this period of being unable to work. If you are unable to donate online, you can message us and we can arrange another way you can donate. The current organizer of the gofundme page is a friend who started it for us, but I (Amanda Rose) and Steve Rose Jr. will be added to the organizer list soon.

Memorial Service Update for Robyn Rose:
Location: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, Sunday September 30th, @3pm.
Address: 3313 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607
We will be holding a potluck after the initial service, so we ask those who are attending to bring a dish if they can, but there is no pressure from direct family to provide food.
The remembrance service will be held in the Sanctuary on the top floor, main entrance, to the building and the potluck will be held downstairs in the Founders Hall. There is a ramp and elevator accessible for folks who are handicap. If you have pictures, memories, stories you would like to share please do so at the event.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, this is absolutely incredible the support that's been shown. This has all helped so much with the costs of arranging everything and we are eternally grateful. There aren't any words that can truly describe how thankful we are. We will be attempting to thank every single one of you very soon. Reaching our goal, we will be able to just about pay for everything exactly so all this really has helped so much. If you weren't able to donate yet but still would like to, you totally still can and it would still help us out so much. We just have the basic immediate arrangements met.
