On Nov. 27th, my 19-year-old cousin Jess was critically injured when hit by a truck while walking with a friend in Trevose. The driver of the truck helped to move Jess out of the road, but then got back in his truck and fled the scene.  Jess was hospitalized, but passed away from her injuries on Nov. 28th. 

Jess was a beautiful person- vibrant, sweet, silly. Her whole family adored her, especially her parents, Jeff and Karen, and her siblings, Ryan and Nicole. The family is heart-broken by this tragedy. Losing a loved one at such a young age is unbearable-- losing her in such a senseless way (with the responsible party still at large), and having to face the holidays is just too much.

Jeff and Karen have had to face many medical and financial challenges over the years. Nothing can ease their heartache at this terrible time, but we can lighten their load somewhat if we help them raise the funds needed to give their baby girl the funeral she deserves. All funds raised will go toward funeral costs and any remaining medical expenses from Jess's hospitalization.
