Memorial Fund for Mitchell Rognrud, Freya's Son

Tragically, the son of one of my best friends in life, Freya Rognrud (Hughes), died in a rock climbing accident on Thursday, March 25th at Taylors Falls, MN. Mitchell Rognrud was doing what he loved, but something went wrong. He was an incredible young man and so full of life, just starting his college career, on his way to great things. I know most parents are close to their children, but I have honestly never seen a bond like the one that Freya shared with Mitchell, and with her daughter, Emily.  Every time I am with her she is talking, texting and sharing every moment of life with them both. 

Losing a child is not supposed to happen. You are supposed to watch them grow up, get married and live a full life. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain and heartbreak that Freya and the family are experiencing now.

I am hosting this campaign to help support Freya and her family during this time. Freya brings so much light and joy to the world and to everyone around her. She always brings a smile to my face and does the craziest things to make life more fun!  She is always making and giving gifts to all her friends, and random people. She is the most generous, loving, funny person I know. Now it is time to give back and help her through this very difficult time, as there will be added expenses and time away from work.  I want to help lift the financial burden and make her life just a little easier through all of this. 

All funds raised will be sent directly to Freya Rognrud (Hughes). If you are not able to support her financially, please send some love and prayers for healing.
