Memorial Fund for Dawn McCraw

Hi, my name is Ashley Sorensen. Dawn McCraw was my sister in law who turned into my sister. She leaves behind 4 children who are 18, 16, 14 and 8. Her kids were her world and she was theirs. She did anything and everything she could for her family, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it. On Saturday, September 21, 2019,  their world turned upside down. Dawn collapsed and hit her head on concrete, while she was visiting Colorado. She had to have emergency brain surgery to stop the brain bleed. The surgery went well, and it was determined that she hadstroke. The doctors were very optimistic, as were her family. She spoke with kids and even told them she wanted to take them on a trip, once she was out of the hospital. Unfortunately, on Wednesday October 1, 2019 at 4:00 am, Dawn suffered a massive stroke. The stroke rendered her unresponsive to all stimulus. As numerous test were done, it was determined she did not have any brain function. The family had to make the excruciating decision to remove her from life support. Dawn did not have any life insurance or any funeral arrangements. The funeral cost are very expensive. On top of the regular expenses of any funeral, we have to pay to get her flown in from Colorado. All donations will go directly to the funeral costs. If you are able, please consider donating.
