Memorial Fund for Casey and Care for Jen

On November 28th, 2019, we lost our dear friend Casey Bedell. He was flying his paraglider in a competition in Chile, before fatally crashing. Not only was Casey a passionate paraglider, he was also a loving and dedicated husband, son, brother, and friend. When you were around Casey, it didn’t take long before his infectious stoke, positivity, and energy took over the space and you found yourself drawn into his many ideas and adventures. He was the center of multiple communities, a caring and driven teacher, and pursued life to its maximum. 

He leaves behind his incredible wife Jen, pup Bentli, parents Cory and Pam Bedell, sister Emily Bedell, friends, students, and their school Black Bird Paragliding. Casey had pursued his passion of bringing paragliding to Missoula over the past year and a half. Within no time, Jen and Casey built a community of pilots around positivity, friendship, and stoke. 

It is unimaginable the loss that his family and community will be facing, and we would like to relieve the burden in any way that we can. There are many expenses that need to be covered in the coming weeks and we want more than anything to provide Jen and their family the opportunity to focus on remembering Casey and continuing the dreams they had together. 

The date for his Celebration of Life is still being decided. We will post updates here for all who would like to join us.
