Memorial for Michael Rhodus
Donation protected
This fundraiser is for the memorial service expenses of Michael Rhodus.
My uncle Mike always had a smile on his face and an exuberant personality and contagious laugh. He was a hard worker and like his little brother, loved horses. Working as a groom and showman, he was very active in the Thoroughbred horse racing industry for decades and traveled quite a bit for his love of horses.
After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, my uncle had to slow down and retire from his fast-paced life of horse racing to take care of himself. After testing positive for COVID-19, he lost the three week battle in the hospital October 3, 2021.
Without my uncle having income or benefits, the family is trying to gather funds to pay for his memorial service and burial. If you’re able to donate anything, every little bit donated will help. Their wish is to be able to have a memorial service and lay him to rest in the Georgetown Cemetery.
Thank You!
