On July 4, 2017, the world lost a beautiful angel named Hayley Emma Rhee, or H.E.R. None of us who had contact with our sweet 13 year old will ever be the same.
Thank you for supporting our family during this time of grief. We appreciate your friendship and love. The family has taken care of all medical and funeral expenses at this time.
We will surely never live a day of our lives not thinking about our sweet girl. However, we would love for the memory of H.E.R. to carry on for others.
DCS Montessori, the only school she has ever attended has graciously accepted the ideas of a wall hung trophy case for the library which would house current and future Battle of the Books trophies. Under this case will be a plaque honoring it as 'Hayley's Trophy case' adorned with a rose, her favorite flower, and some brief words to her passion leading to the beginning of the BOB team at DCSM and her memory being a light of inspiration for future DCSM BOB teams.
In addition, the DCS Montessori Middle School will be planting a rose garden in her memory, to grow and bloom for many years to come.
A Kiva fund will also be started in HER name.
All funds will go directly to the memorial project at DCS Montessori School.
