We are raising £4,000 to fund a memorial plaque to commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of Firefighters John Davies and David Morris
Tragically, on Monday 6th September 1993, two firefighters lost their lives in the line of duty at the largest fire Hereford has ever seen. To commemorate their bravery and sacrifice a memorial service will be held and a lead plaque is to be erected on Hereford Cathedral at an estimated cost of £4000. We are fundraising towards the cost of the service and the manufacture of this plaque
This will be a fitting and lasting memorial to John Davies and David Morris of Hereford & Worcester Fire Service who made the ultimate sacrifice that day.
