Memorial for Elissa and Nick

Our beautiful daughter, Elissa, was taken from us at the hands of a man who was supposed to love her.  This same man also murdered Elissa’s stepdad, Nick.  Elissa and Nick were both US Army veterans who served overseas. Nick was 82nd Airborne and served in Kosovo and Kuwait. Despite being diagnosed with PTSD, he was very proud of his service as he was almost always seen wearing his 82nd Airborne hat. Nick was very excited about a job he had just started with the Veterans Administration. As Elissa’s father, I am honored to say that Nick adored Elissa and always treated her as his own flesh and blood. Elissa served in Afghanistan and also came home with PTSD.  Pictured with Elissa is her service dog, Nukka.  Money raised will go toward their final expenses and memorial.  Anything left over will be donated to Soldiers Best Friend, the nonprofit in Peoria, AZ where Elissa and Nukka formed their unbreakable bond.
