Memorial for Betty
Beatrice “Betty” Gonzales passed away on June 5th, 2020 after a hard battle with COVID-19 and its complications. Betty’s husband Danny is currently unaware of this tragedy as he too is fighting for his life against COVID-19.
This comes with an extremely heavy heart as Betty’s family was unable to be present when she left for heaven. This is especially a hard time for my stepmom Nora, a caregiver who wanted to be with her. Betty was the most caring mother, wife, grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend, leaving behind a big family and community.
We are unable to hold a service with all her family and friends due to the continued impact of the crisis, so I’m asking for your support to help build an everlasting memorial for the benefit of her daughter, grandkids and our family.
It would be so meaningful to provide a place to seek solace, so all the funds raised will be put towards building material for a fenced gazebo, wishing well and/or pole barn in her honor on our family open-range property outside of Ellensburg.
As Betty would expect, our family and friends throughout Washington will be assisting in the labor efforts. We already have county-approved plans for the structures, please consider donating; your support is truly appreciated.
