Memorial Bench for Jamey Hares
Donation protected
Anyone who knew Jamey invariably describes him the same way, as a force of nature. He was the center of gravity for almost everyone he came into contact with, pulling them into his orbit. His enthusiasm was infectious, his heart always open, and he always believed in supporting others when they were most in need.
Jay was many things to many people, but most importantly he was a father and a husband. He was also a son, a brother and a true friend. He was an example, a rock, and funny SOB.
We think the best way to memorialize him, is a marker in a place he would have loved, on a 4wheel drive trail in Clear Creek County. We are hoping to raise enough funds to place a stone bench with an plaque memorializing Jay and provide a place for those who knew and loved him (and those who didn't get a chance) to sit and reflect on a man that shaped so many of our lives.
Any amount is appreciated and a notice will be sent to everyone (regardless of donation) with updates on the progress of the planning and when and where the bench is placed.
