Memorial and Cremation Fund for Katie Ode

I am trying to raise money to cover the cost of the funeral and burial for my wife Katie.  Katie has been battling metastatic melanoma since January of 2018.  She has fought bravely but due to the disease taking it toll on her body she had to quit working as a para-educator.  Our family has struggled both emotionally, spiritually, and financially as she has fought for the past two years. 

What is also very devastating is the two of us she leaves behind.  We have a 4 year old son who has seen his mother struggle to even the most simple of tasks. Most of his memories of mommy involve her being to tired to even play with him. Trying to tell him that mommies body is dying and that she is going to soon go live in heaven has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do as a father. 

The funds are going to go to help cover the cost of the funeral and burial of my wife.  We found out today that she does not have life insurance since she has had to quit working to fight and try to stay alive.  The financial burdens for our family during this fight has put a real strain on everything financially.    If you could find it in your heart I could not express enough thanks for helping out my son and I at this time.
