Melvin Parker shot at age 11

On July 19th, 2019, at around 3:00PM, 11 yr old Melvin and his mother were walking to the car after receiving a hair cut. When they reached the car 2-3 men started firing while Melvin was in the backseat. A bullet hit just under his eye, and came out his neck, severing an artery. Currently he remains in critical condition, with a long recovery ahead. Melvin is just a child, soon to start 6th grade at CE Cole in Muhlenberg this upcoming school year. He had a passion for science, loved playing video games, YouTube, and making new friends. He is the most compassionate and understanding child with a big heart. This gofundme page was made to raise money towards 11 yr old Melvin’s medical bills. With a little extra for the trauma therapy that will be needed for his mother (my sister) who was present at the time of the shooting.
