To the friends of Melisa Jean Allen (Mel):
Hello, I’m Nathan Allen, and my mother, Melisa Jean Allen, served in the US Army. She is an honorably discharged, disabled veteran who needs your help.
Melisa has been suffering from a number of illnesses. Recently, Melisa has had to be hospitalized for an extended period of time. Although her medical bills are covered by the US Military, she has been unable to work and has fallen desperately behind on her household bills. With two teenage children at home, this single mother needs some help to stabilize her household.
Melisa is a successful IT consultant and a respected professional who has always prided herself on taking care of our family. She would never start this posting herself, but I know that there has to be those out there who can help our family in our time of need. She offered her life to defend her country, dedicated her life to raising her children…now she just needs a little help at her most desperate time.
If you can help...any amount at all...it will allow Melisa the time necessary to heal and return to her normal life.
