Melinda Lee - Cancer treatment

Melinda Lee is a 31-year old mother of two beautiful girls and wife of Keven Lee. She is currently battling Stage IV Ovarian Cancer.
After several visits to the ER for back pain this past March, Melinda was to undergo what was expected to be a routine procedure. Unfortunately, the doctors discovered a large mass on her ovary and were left with no choice but to remove part of her colon, intestine and right ovary. On March 9, 2017, Melinda’s diagnosis was confirmed. Stage IV Ovarian Cancer. The pathology report showed malignant cells throughout her abdominal lining and pelvic area, along with positive cells in some of her lymph nodes.
Initial chemo began In April. After six weeks of treatment, yet no relief from pain, Melinda was back to the ER. A CT scan showed the treatment was not working. Melinda is now on a new and much stronger chemo regiment.
As her mother, I have been there to support her and her family each and every day, both financially and emotionally, as have many friends, family members and her employer, Pepper Viner Homes. We are so grateful. Unfortunately, with mounting medical expenses, we have come to the realization additional help is needed for this young family.
A special account has been set up at Alliance Bank and all Go Fund Me proceeds will be applied towards Melinda’s medical bills.
