My mom was the kindest woman I've ever known. She always put everyone else first and would give the shirt off her back or an extra room to anyone who needed it.
Almost exactly one year ago, she was diagnosed with fatty liver disease and due to recent complications, she passed away last Friday, January 20th.
There will be a visitation at 6:00PM on Friday evening at Gladfelter Funeral Home: 822 E Market St, York, PA 17403. A small service will follow at 7:00PM.
Many people have asked me what they can do, and I think in lieu of flowers, she would want to have donations go to getting my sister through her last year of college and to also put some away for Mazie for when she gets older. In fact, the last thing she told me before she went to sleep in the hospital and didn't wake back up was that I needed to "Get that child to Disney World as soon as possible."
