Mel's Heart Transplant

We never know why bad things happen to good people, but they do, everyday...



This is my son Mel, he just turned 29 and two weeks after his birthday I had to rush him to the Emergency Room. He had been coughing, and couldn't hold down any food. Once he was seen, they told us he had pneumonia and he had to be treated immediately. 

Pneumonia is tough enough, but it turns out we had more then the pneumonia to fight. The doctor told me my son's heart was weak and it was causing my son to be fatigued and not able to be mobile.


After days of testing, multiple surgeries and organ updates they put my son on the heart transplant list saying there was no way to strengthen his heart. No medications, rehabilitations or treatment options could help. It is either we get my son a new heart, or we don't know how his will perform during his fight for his life.

Unless you have children you will never be able to understand the pain from seeing your child in pain and you can't do anything to help them. I would trade places with him today if I could. 

So we need your help, they haven't told us the final details, but we know we need a base amount to ensure Mel can be an official candidate for his heart transplant. We are looking to raise the funds in the next 30 days or sooner, the doctors are telling us we will have to take it day by day. 


These circumstances have broken our household down from 3 incomes to 1. Any help will give us hope.
