Hello to each of you who find your way to this particular GOFUNDME.

July 18th, 2019, I was diagnosed with triple-positive stage 2B breast cancer.  It is the first go-around for me.  Thankfully triple-positive is not as bad as triple-negative.  

I will have three months of Chemo in conjunction
with targeted therapy
for the Her2 gene mutation., followed by a double mastectomy
and reconstruction with three more months of chemo and targeted therapy. 

A total of 6 months chemo therapy,  and one year of targeted therapy 
to keep the Her2 mutation for recurring. 

I have already paid close to $,4,000 out of pocket.   The funds are
needed right away. I am currently unemployed, paying $655.00 out of
pocket for COBRA insurance.  I am astounded that paying $655/month for insurance still causes me to have $4,000.00 out of pocket thus far.  I have a high deductible plan with $5,000 limit for out of pocket. 

Since I am unemployed at this time, and not able to seek employment
due to cancer, I will use funds for insurance payments, medical out of
pocket, copay,  and living expenses, rent, utilities and food. 

My situation is urgent. I lost my job as a nurse, one month before
receiving the news about the cancer diagnosis. Thankfully I had a bit of retirement to survive on, except out of pocket has chewed up most of my funds.
