Melanie Beltram is fighting to conquer Breast Cancer. After chemotherapy treatments, Surgeons have set a tentative date to perform double masectomy on September 6th, 2017.
After learning that disability insurance will not cover Melanie's loss of salary until after 30 consecutive days of missed work, and then only 60% of the salary will be paid, she's unable to cover medical expenses as well as all usual monthly expenses. The radiation treatments may keep her from returning to work for approximately 2 months.
