Meier Family Support

On Monday, July 17, 2023 Nick Meier was in a serious car accident on his way to work in Orlando where he is a pilot for Spirit Airlines. He was taken to Holmes Regional Hospital in critical condition. After surgery to stop the internal bleeding, he now faces several other procedures on his feet, arm, pelvis and abdomen and many months of recovery.

His wife Jess and 10-year old twins, Hadley and Kaiden, are staying in a hotel in Melbourne to be close to him. Nick remains intubated and sedated, but stable.

Many of us who know Nick know him to be a fun-loving, playful and energetic guy who loves his family, friends and community and is always willing to lend a hand, strike up a conversation, and share good food and drinks.

Our hope in setting up this fund is to help defray the medical costs and to support Jess and their kids as they navigate the long road to recovery ahead.
