Mei Mao's Emergency Vet Bill

Mei Mao is my 10 yr old cat who I have had since he we born. Mei Mao is FIV positive which weakens his immune system greatly. On June 2nd Mei Mao began throwing up, refusing to eat, and was even too weak to lift his head. I had no choice but to take him to the emergency vet where I we found out Mei Mao had a fever of 106.6 °. He was extremely fragile and has been hospitalized for 3 days now. Because of his medical history fighting off any illness, virus, bacteria is extremely difficult for MeiMao and he has been suffering without me (current pandemic does not allow me to visit him). Mei Mao had to immediately get put on IV fluids. They did an ultrasound and found that part of his intestine is too large but that wasn't pertinent to his current status. They also did bloodworm and an X-ray. I love Mei Mao with all my heart and would do anything and everything for him. His medical bill is now at $2,300 and I simply can not afford to pay that right now. I also have four other cats to care for. I had no option! I would never let my baby suffer or risk him dying at home so I had to rush him to the ER. He is my whole world and I have grown up with him for 10 years! Losing him would destroy me so I acted quickly and left the consequences for later. Thank you guys so much I can't thank y'all enough. After I get the medical bill sorted out I will be donating to the adoption center connected to the hospital I took him to (Angell Memorial). I will be buying beds, treats, toys, etc.
