Mehdi Ziani Medical Fund

On October 13, 2018 Mehdi Ziani, a 16-year-old high school student in Martinez, CA was in a life altering automobile accident. 

His injuries are extensive and he has already endured hours of surgery, facing additional surgeries and multiple blood transfusions.

His list of injuries included internal bleeding, crushed pelvis, torn urethra, broken tailbone nerve damage in his right leg that controls the heel and big toe. This young boy is facing a battle of a lifetime. He is struggling with horrific pain and not only are the physical pains impossible to bear, his spirit is also carrying a very heavy weight. 

His message to peers amidst heavy pain medication is quite lucid, “...to all young teenagers,  life is very delicate and precious. You have to treat life with respect and think about what you are about to do.”

His road to recovery is unclear. The hospital social worker has directed his father to take extended leave from work once Mehdi leaves the hospital and is working towards recovery. 

We are hoping to raise enough funds to help support the family’s loss of work and help subsidize Mehdi’s medical bills. 

All funds raised through this campaign have been set-up for the Ziani family to have exclusive use of the funds for the family.

How you are related to your beneficiary?  #hersmile Nonprofit is a local nonprofit located in Martinez, CA.  The nonprofit is managing these fundraising efforts on behalf of the Ziani Family.    #hersmile Nonprofit (a.k.a. Dena Betti) will be withdrawing the funds in their name but 100% of the proceeds will be going to the Ziani Family.  #hersmile Nonprofit will be forwarding the funds to the Ziani Family in the form of a check with a 100% of the proceeds upon each withdrawal.  #hersmile Nonprofit will not be benefiting financially from the fundraising proceeds.
