Don protégé
My cousin Meghan Mulqueen Taylor passed away this past Saturday, October 13, after a long battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and subsequently Bronchiolitis Obliterans. Along with her husband Greg, Meghan left behind her two young daughters Haley(10) and Hannah(8). Meghan's loves of her life were Greg and her girls. She was a wonderful wife and an even better Mother. With Haley and Hannah being so young, we are hoping to raise money for their education. Meghan's final wish was to make sure her girls were taken care of and we want to launch this educational fund for them in honor of their Mom.
Those of you fortunate enough to know Meghan knew she loved her family and friends and wanted to make sure her girls got to know all of her aunts, uncles and tons of cousins that she enjoyed growing up with. She was a fierce competitor on the Lacrosse field but was never one to boast about her success but rather used her talent to coach and teach young girls the sport she loved to play. She was the Director of Fins Lacrosse Club for girls on Daniel Island, SC. Meghan was known by most on the Island as Coach Meg. She touched so many lives and was a wonderful role model to so many young girls she coached over the past 25 years. Beyond titles and accolades, which she had far too many to list here, Meghan was the most generous, kind and loving person I know! With the help of all of you I ask that we fulfill Meghan's wishes for Haley and Hannah:
1. Making sure they have a lot of what she referred to as "Mulqueen fun" in them, channeling both her spirit as well as her father's Mike Mulqueen Sr.
2. Making sure their educational needs are taken care of.
