Meghan and Joey Need Some Love

Hey All,
Meghan's mama, Lois, had cancer this summer, and Meghan and Joey spent a lot of time and money caring for her. In addition, Meghan was in full time school at UC Davis getting her degree (which she did, YAY Meghan!! Gas cost a ton though, BOO!!) AND her car was stolen in the middle of all of that craziness!
Understandably, they haven't yet recovered financially from all of that, and now it seems that her beloved Mom has cancer again.
I think it is time for us to step up and help our friends to make ends meet, so they can get on with the difficult business of helping to beat her mom's cancer into submission, and have enough to fly back and forth and pay all the bills, don't you?
We think it will take about $10,000 to get caught up with old bills, and to have enough to move forward so that they can eat, get their cars registered, and fly back and forth from Chicago, where Lois lives.
If you can't help financially, we will also be setting up a food train for them because sometimes the business of cooking and grocery shopping gets to be too much in the middle of everything else, And self-care, which is vital to one's health and sanity, goes out the proverbial window.
They need the funds for a plane ticket asap, and if you can contribute in general, then YAY. If not, could you please share this link far and wide with a little note about what Meghan and Joey mean to you?
They are both such wonderful, talented, beautiful people. They truly deserve all the help we can give them.
