Megan Swartz Memorial Bench

This GoFundMe page has been created in honor of Megan Swartz, who we tragically lost August 20, 2018. To put into words what Meg meant to family and friends is impossible. Meg was the most caring, compassionate and giving individual. 

When she lived in Baltimore she made it a point to provide meals to the homeless, she worked for Catholic Relief Services and found much satisfaction in her job and how the non-profit organization helped so many lives.

Meg was selfless in both her time and possessions, she took the time for those around her and she would give you her last dime if you needed it. Meg's frame of mind is that nothing is more important than the people in your life, whether it was someone she had known for 20 years or 20 minutes. 

Meg loved being outdoors and frequently walked on the Roanoke Greenway, this memorial fund will be used for a memorial bench.

The world has lost a very special individual, Meg you will always be remembered and missed greatly.
