2020 has brought with it an abundance of challenges and situations that no one saw coming. During this time, MSA families have worked tirelessly to keep their children safe and without worry. Unfortunately, one of the unforeseen effects of COVID-19 has been an increased amount of families needing extra support this holiday season. While the world has been turned upside down, it is our goal at MSA to protect children both physically and emotionally from the impacts of this pandemic and therefore we would like to ensure that this holiday season is just as joyful – if not more! – than ever before. That's where you come in!
In years past, you eased the financial burden of the holiday season for hundreds of children. You donated gifts or money which was used to buy toys, clothing, diapers, and other goods. Afterwards, families would come into the school and “shop” for their children and keep the magic of the season alive. This year, of course, will look different. With the increased amount of families needing support, and the COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you give in one of two ways!
Option 1: Donate monetarily! This year we have a goal of $7000. With this contribution, MSA will buy gifts and household necessities that families requested. ALL contributions will go directly into the hands of families (and under trees!)
Option 2: Support one specific family by buying gifts for a specific family. Families have filled out an interest form which you can use to buy for families. Families will list the number and ages of their children, as well as the interests of the kids. By choosing option two, you are agreeing to spending approximately $200 on a family. All donations must be dropped off at the school on December 5th to ensure Santa makes it to the house on time! Additional & EXTRAordinary Option:
Become an official member of the MSA Strong community by purchasing a t-shirt designed by one of our teachers. All proceeds will go directly to support any MSA family member financially impacted by COVID-19. All shirts can be directly mailed to you!
