Gesundheit ist das wichtigste Gut. Für die Bevölkerung in Ghana ist sie trotz fortgeschrittener Infrastruktur noch keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Gesundheit darf nicht am Geld scheitern, das ist es, was wir mit der MediCard erreichen wollen. Jeder unserer Kunden soll uns in seiner Tasche tragen und die Kontrolle über seine Gesundheit haben können.

 

Durch das Apothekennetz kann jeder registrierte mit Hilfe der MediCard auf Medikamente zugreifen. Dabei muss der Registrierte über seine GHC-App sein Guthabenkontingent aufladen, um ein Paket zu buchen, das ihm zusagt. Nach der Aufladung kann er seinen Bedarf in der Apotheke auf Basis seines gebuchten Pakets geltend machen. Jede erfolgreiche Transaktion mit der MediCard belohnt den Apotheker mit Bonuspunkten, die später in Form von Provisionszahlungen ausgeschüttet werden. Auf diese Weise schaffen wir nicht nur eine innovative Infrastruktur, sondern auch ein Grundverständnis für Selbstversorgung in Entwicklungsländern

 

GHC befindet sich seit Beginn der HRW Summer School (Mai 2021) in der Entwicklung. Im November 2021 wurde eine erste Version zur Verfügung gestellt, die seitdem in einem agilen Ansatz weiterentwickelt wird. Das Team freut sich darauf, bis zum Ende des Sommers 2022 weitere Gelder zu sammeln, um in eine hochentwickelte Blockchain-Lösung investieren zu können

 

Gloria Niiquaye ist Studentin und hat ihre erlernten Social-Media-Kenntnisse in ihren Berufsalltag integriert, um Unternehmen bei ihren Strategien zu beraten. Passend zum analogen Vertrieb erweitert sie ihr Wissen über den digitalen Vertrieb durch ein Studium im Bereich E-Commerce und beschäftigt sich zudem mit agiler Softwareentwicklung. Als Kauffrau für Versicherungen und Finanzen bringt sie die Erfahrung mit, um GHC voranzubringen und ein modernes Fundament für die Zukunft zu schaffen.

 

Ein gewonnener Ideenwettbewerb war nicht nur ein klarer Sieg und Beweis, dass das Problem anerkannt wird und sogar potential hat, sondern auch der erste Schritt in die Teamgründung. Gemeinsam mit Regina aus dem Spring verfolgt GHC die Ambition, Menschen und Bedürftige von Ihrer Versorgungslösung zu begeistern.

Regina ist nicht nur ein Organisationstalent sondern zeichnet sich auch durch Ihre Werte für Gleichberechtigung und ihren positiven Einsatz gegenüber Öffentlichkeitsarbeit besonders aus. Die Bachelorandin im Bereich angewandte Medien stellt gemeinsam mit Gloria ein ausgeglichenes Fundament dar.

Health is the most important commodity. For the population in Ghana, this is not yet a matter of course, despite advanced infrastructure. Health must not fail because of money, this is what we want to achieve with the MediCard. Every customer should carry us with in their pocket and have control over their health.

 

Through the interconnected pharmacy network, everyone can access medicine with the help of the MediCard. In doing so, the customer must use their GHC app to top up their credit quota to book a package that appeals to them. After completing his top-up, the customer can claim his needs at the pharmacy based on his booked package. Each successful transaction with the MediCard rewards the pharmacist with bonus points, which are later distributed in the form of commission payments. In this way, we create not only an innovative infrastructure but also a basic understanding of self-sufficiency.

 

GHC has been under development since the beginning of the HRW Summer School (May 2021). In November 2021, a first version was made available, which has since been further developed iteratively and in an agile approach. The Team is looking forward to collect more money to invest in a high developed Block-Chain Solution by end of Summer 2022.

 

Gloria Niiquaye is a student and has integrated her learned social media skills into her everyday professional life to advise companies on their strategies. In keeping with analog sales, she is expanding her knowledge of digital sales through a degree in e-commerce and is also involved in agile software development. As a businesswoman for insurance and finance, she has experience to bring GHC forward and create a modern foundation for its future.

 

Winning the ideas competition was not only a clear victory and proof that the problem is recognized and even has potential, but also the first step towards founding a team. Together with Regina aus dem Spring, GHC pursues the ambition to inspire people and those in need of your supply solution. Regina is not only an organizational talent but also stands out for her values for equality and her positive commitment towards public relations. Together with Gloria, the bachelor in applied media represents a balanced foundation.
