Medicines for affected community in El Salvador

Dear all,
We are raising funds to finance medicines for four people in Lourdes, El Salvador, whose financial situation has gone from bad to worse given the Covid-19 containment measures that the government has put in place. Rosa is retired, Margarita works in cleaning, and Edgardo works as a tailor. Given the lock-down and social distancing measures, they have not been able to work for almost two months. The fourth person is Edgardo's son.
The conditions for which the medicines are needed are bipolar disorder, high blood pressure (two cases, one of which already suffered two heart attacks), and mental disability (needs medicines against convulsions). Once the goal is reached we will handle the purchase of the medicines and deliver them to the people concerned. The 400 euros (around 430 USD) covers the medicines needed for 6 months of treatment.
With your contribution, we will be able to help these people whose situation was already stressful and deteriorated in recent weeks. We are also grateful if you share this campaign and help us reach a wider community of good-hearted people.
These efforts are being done in the framework of a project that we are pursuing with a group of people in El Salvador. Our aim is to help people living in poverty to finance basic needs such as medical treatment. For this purpose we have established the foundation Digital Solutions for Sustainable Development (Fundación Soluciones Digitales para el Desarrollo Sostenible) and are developing the platform HelpSV.
