Medical costs for my mom

I am fundraising for my Mom. She’s naturally a very private person. My mom got sick almost   ten years ago with a rare autoimmune disease. She has been strong during many exploratory surgery’s. In the face of losing her career to her health and losing control over her body. At 51 it deteriorated to that of someone thirty  years her senior. 

This year has hit hard for so many, for us this meant the sudden death of my step dad who   was her best friend, long time partner and  helped me care for her. 

This week, she tripped and broke her hip. Laying alone until I found her and called 911. I want to say I can fix everything but this time I can not. At 34, trying to build a life and having two parents become federally disabled. I can admit I need help to care for her.

I want to give her the best possible chance to  recover from emergency surgery and let her   know she isn’t alone in the world. So I have  decided to ask for help.  All I can hope for this holiday season is to ease her suffering. 

Medical expenses are going to be expensive,   physiotherapist, therapy and prescription cost are all out of reach at the required level. Disability  leaves people living well under the poverty line, often without certain medications that are required but not covered

This would be the miracle for me, to be able to take care of her.
