Medical volunteering in Guyana

Hey everyone!
I’m really excited to announce my upcoming volunteering project with Rad-Aid Latin America in Georgetown, Guyana.
Rad-Aid is a global nonprofit organization that is trying to improve global health outcomes by providing radiology and imaging technology in the developing and impoverished countries of the world. Beginning in the spring of 2019, I am going to support Rad-Aid by training the local staff at the public hospital in Georgetown to use and maintain the necessary equipment for radiology services. I’m currently a radiology resident in a hospital in Vienna, Austria, and I am going to take an unpaid leave to volunteer with Rad-Aid.

This letter is my personal appeal to raise funds for my time in Georgetown. As it is a volunteer program, I will not receive a salary during my time there and I will also have to fund my flight, apartment, insurance, and all the other stuff I will need (e.g. vaccinations).
/ Update may 2019!!!: I was initially planning to stay in Georgetown for three months, because of different issues concerning safety, social life, visa problems and also financial efforts I decided during my time in Georgetown, to stay for two months. /
As I am fervently looking forward to realizing this project, I am willing to eat into my private savings, but it won’t be enough. I would appreciate any help and kindly ask for your donations to help me make this project a reality. You can help create something amazing and be part of this wonderful project with just a few euros. Everything helps. :)
If you can’t give, but still want to support my cause, please share this with friends, family members, and coworkers.
I would also like to disclose that I will spend part of my unpaid leave, which was fortunately approved by my employer, traveling. This fundraising campaign is not designated to finance my holidays.
