Medical Treatment for Jessica's Brave Little Boy

Hi, My name is Jessica. I am trying to raise money to help with hospital expenses. On 01/30 my 2 year old pulled a container of hot water on his arm. We rushed to the nearest hospital, where they treated him to the best of their ability before sending him to a children's burn center in Memphis. We got sent home on 02/04 after his first surgery. I have been out of work due to being in the hospital with my son and being with him while he recovers outside of the hospital. He's a champ and has even earned the title of "The Hulk" with every nurse at the hospital. I am having to drive to and from Memphis once a week for treatment and he will soon be going into surgery for the second time. Please share!

Update:

My baby had his second surgery on 02/11. The surgeon said everything looks good, but they did have to do a skin graft. When he woke up from surgery he was super angry and not being himself, so we had to stay the night so the nurses could do pain management. I don't think I could recommend this hospital enough. All the nurses and doctors are wonderful, and they really listen to your questions and concerns. A big thank you to everyone who has shared and donated!

Update:

We went to Memphis again yesterday so they could clean his arm again and they said it looks a lot better. The spots that weren’t as deep are already healed! He did fantastic after he woke up and we got to come home the same day. Hes been doing wonderful!
