Medical Supplies for India's COVID Crisis

In the US, we have started to round the corner with the Covid-19 pandemic through the roll-out and distribution of vaccines. However, this is currently not the case in India where cases have been exponentially rising since February with over 360,000 new cases and 3,000 deaths reported on April 27 (JHU CSSE).
We are working closely with Hemanshu Desai, Mohan Raju and Dr. Vivek Padegal in Bangalore.
Hemanshu and Mohan are well established philanthropist and entrepreneurs. Vivek is a Pulmonary Critical Care physician. He practiced in Dallas, Texas before he moved to work in India
They have helped us identify critical needs and to coordinate delivery of the equipment to the most needy. They have informed us that there is an immediate need for oxygen concentrators, BiPAPs, and CPAPs. We have set up this GoFundMe to raise money to help buy this lifesaving equipment.
Some of this equipment will be purchased in the US and shipped to India. Our first batch of oxygen concentrators will arrive in San Jose on May 4th and should leave for India the same day. Equipment that is readily available in India, will be purchased there directly. We are also in the process of trying to identify what the needs of the community will be in the coming weeks and months.
We will continuously update this page with shipment updates and news from the doctors on the ground.
