Half Marathon for Medical Outreach in Tanzania

Hello everyone, I’m Jess and currently in my 4th year of medical school. In August 2024 I am going to be travelling to Tanzania to volunteer in a medical outreach project. I will be running the Brighton Half Marathon in 2024 in order to help fundraise for this.

This project will involve me going to the local villages, paying for the medical supplies myself in order to deliver care to those who might not necessarily get it in day to day life. This can be anything from giving vaccinations to local children to caring for wounds to prevent infection. I will also be going to the local hospitals and understand how the healthcare system works better in the lower income countries!

I would really appreciate any donations that will help me achieve these goals and give the care to those in need.
