My GapMedics Program

As a part of pursuing one of my biggest aspirations, I have decided to go on a trip in July with a program called GapMedics in the Dominican Republic. For two weeks, I will have the opportunity to shadow a  doctor who I will get to follow around through surgeries, learn patient care from, and overall gain a lot of  exposure to the environment and pace of the hospital. After high school I plan on studying medicine with the intent to pursue nursing, so having the opportunity to attend this program will allow me to learn things that I wouldn’t be able to learn through any textbook. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will go towards various expenses for this trip.
