Joe Simpson-coma, family out-of-state expenses

Hi, my name is Christina Harvey and I sending out a request for PRAYERS and a fundraising request to help the Simpson family. This is Joe Simpson, owner of “The Firing Edge”, he is the hard working and loving husband to Cyndy and father to Chava and Jess. Cyndy and Chava are in an out-of-state hospital (Seattle) with Joe while he fights for his life. They don’t know anyone and only have a few days left in the hotel they currently have. They have little to no means and are scared Joe will pass. Doctor’s are unsure what’s causing his lung issue but here’s what happened.

He was working in Idaho when he came down with a cold or so he thought. He fought through it like we all do until one day he had to make a trip to the ER.

Still in Idaho he was admitted to intensive care with lung issues which resulted in him having to be on oxygen. He was then transferred to an LTACK in Seattle and that’s where it all goes down hill. The family felt the LTACK was not caring for him properly so a small group was able to fly Cyndy and Chava to Seattle, not know how things would work out, and as expected the facility was much to be desired. Three days into them being there the facility tried to intubate him and failed so he was rushed by ambulance to UW hospital in downtown Seattle.

Joe is now once again in intensive care WAY worse than he ever was. He’s in a coma, intubated and the hospital is talking about doing an EMCO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). The family is told they don’t know what’s wrong and he is not doing well.

If you know me then you know Chava moved out to VA to help & support me with my husband Mike Harvey when he had his life threatening accident. She moved her entire family, that kind of love and support is unheard of nowadays. NOW she needs the support. Please anyone who is able, please help this family so they can stay in Seattle. They need housing, food, transportation, flights home (when the time comes) and god forbid possible end of life preparations.

We are prying for the best, that Joe will recover, and they can bring him home. Any donation amount is appreciate.
