Medical Fund For My Liver Cancer
Donation protected
For years my PCP tried to talk me into getting a colonoscopy but I procrastinated. When I did I had already retired. When I got one I found out I had a tumor in my colon that was cancerous. Removal was the recommended solution. One month after removal I had to mee with an oncologist which is standard procedure. After appropriate tests it was determined that my blood cancer marker was 585 (normal is 2.5). Again after tests and scans (PET Scan) showed the colon cancer that had been removed had already spread to my liver. So now I'm getting Chemo every two weeks with a "carry-home" pump for 2 additional days beyond the chemo day. I also found out on my last visit that after this main treatment I must go into maintenance mode for the rest of my life. This is the same treatment but smaller doses. It is difficult to work but I try. So I am in need of a bit of a financial lift to maintain myself for that long. Any help you can give would be great.
