Medical Fund for Linda Hirsch

Linda was diagnosed with glioblastoma (a malignant tumor affecting the brain) about 2 years ago. Since then, she has had 2 brain surgeries and many courses of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the treatments have stopped working and there is nothing else that can be done for her other than trying to make her as comfortable as possible and giving her all the love and support we can.

This GoFundMe page was created to help the family with the financial burden that this disease has brought upon the Hirsch family. Specifically, the funds will go towards:

· Caregiver. While he would like stay home with Linda, Steve needs to continue working in order to keep his health insurance active as well as bring home a paycheck. He has hired a wonderful caregiver to look after Linda during the day, but the cost is about $1000/week which is more than the family can afford.

· Medical co-pays and medicine.

· While it is hard to talk about, final arrangements will need to be made. This will cost about $12,000.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will be greatly appreciated by the family and reduce some of the financial stress they are currently feeling.
