Medical Expenses for Trent

Hi Everyone, many may already know that Sunday March 3rd 2024 Trent was in a very bad motocross accident which resulted in a severely fractured lumbar vertebrae (Lower back) and damage to his spinal cord. Trent has had a very extensive and difficult surgery on Monday morning at Memorial Hospital Trauma Center in South Bend, has stayed in ICU, and will be transferred to an inpatient rehabilitation center for an unknown amount of time. Trent has an 18 month old daughter at home and Madelyn, his wife, who is not working so that she can support and care for him.

Update: Trent has a spinal fusion that spreads across 5 vertebrae in his back. We are waiting to transfer to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago hopefully today or tomorrow. At Shirley Ryan Trent will work everyday to gain back his ability to stand unassisted, walk, climb stairs, and much more. He will be in their inpatient spinal cord injury rehabilitation program for 4-6 weeks followed by extensive outpatient therapy for an unknown amount of time.

Our family has been overwhelmed with the amount of love and support that all of our friends and family have offered us during this trying time. We have had many people who are desperate to help us in anyway that they can, which has prompted me to create this go fund me to assist with all of Trent’s medical expenses.
