Medical expenses for the son of Maria Nunley

Hello everyone from all of us at World Famous Cigar Bar, our co-worker, friend, and family need your help. On Tuesday September 6th, 2022 at approximately 9:30 pm the 17 year old son of Maria Nunley a World Famous Cigar Bar bartender for the downtown Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Gulf Coast town center locations “Ayvian” a Lee County resident and high school student with great aspirations in life and hard work ethic had just finished his shift at Wendy’s in Fort Myers to save money for college and future goals was riding his bike home from work when he was tragically struck by a vehicle that left the scene of the accident (hit and run) and left Ayvian on the side of the road suffering severe physical injuries forever altering this young man’s life. Fortunately a passerby found Ayvian on the side of the road and rendered medical attention until paramedics arrived ultimately saving Ayvian life. Due to the severity of his injuries he was immediately transported to Gulf Coast Hospital where doctors were able to stop the severe blood loss, and stabilize Ayvian. Since Tuesday night Ayvian was immediately subjected to a major spinal reconstruction surgery and numerous other surgeries to save his life. Due to the severity of his injuries Ayvian’s future will forever be challenging and will require an extensive amount of future surgeries, and special rehabilitation centers nationwide. In these unforeseen times, Maria ultimately was forced to step aside from her livelihood to care for her son who is currently fighting in stable but serious condition. The future medical expenses will be astronomical and we’re asking for any donations to help this family during these difficult times. Please share with your friends and family as she would do the same for any of us. Maria’s message to everyone is hug your children tight as this could happen to any of us. She is very grateful for your generosity during their families unforeseen tragedy. We will keep you all updated to Ayvian’s progress as his struggle will be a long road to recovery and adversity of challenges ahead.
