Medical Expenses for Shayna Riddle

I have watched Shayna's body attack itself since we were in first grade. On December 22, 2018 she had a stroke like event and her health issues seemed to become more severe after this traumatic day.  This past February, Shayna made her way to Mayo Clinic in Arizona where she received answers to many unknowns. After three months of testing and surgeries, we were able to understand why she is unable to eat, why she has sudden and severe head pain/dizziness/weakness/balance issues, and why her joints dislocate so easily.  Shayna came home with confirmed diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos syndrome, Ankylosing Spondylitis, neuropathic POTS/dysautonomia, Gastroparesis/dysmotility, Lupus, mast cell activation disorder, and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction. After insurance and donations from a previous fundraiser, Shayna still has $8,000 in medical bills to pay. On top of this, Mayo Clinic is not done with Shayna yet. She has to go back in November for more testing and procedures where she will hopefully get more answers. Shayna is the bravest and kindest person I've ever known. Her smile makes the world bright.
