Funeral and Medical Expenses for Ricardo Ruiz

**UPDATE: Unfortunately Ricardo passed away, after almost a month in the Hospital, on Friday April 22nd. All proceeds will now be used towards both his funeral and outstanding medical expenses. Thank you so much for all the support our family has received.

On Saturday, March 26, 2022, two vehicles were racing at dangerously high speeds, when one lost control and rear-ended Ricardo Ruiz while on his way to work. When firefighters arrived to the scene, he was given CPR and rushed to Harborview Medical Center. Ricardo is now left severely injured and in critical condition, fighting for his life. He suffered multiple fractures along with extensive internal and external injuries. At the moment he is unable to breathe on his own and requires the assistance of a ventilator, as well as needing to be fed through a tube. Ricardo has undergone two surgeries, but has a very long road to recovery ahead of him. Doctors have given us no hope that he will ever be able to physically move again, but we have faith that God will answer our prayers. Ricardo has always been an honest and hard working man, with a family first mentality. Without thinking twice, he would regularly contribute his earnings towards his parents in Mexico. Ricardo unfortunately did not have financial access to medical insurance and is needing our help now more than ever. We kindly ask for your help towards his medical expenses in this desperate time of need for him and his family. All proceeds will go towards Ricardo's current and future medical bills.
