I am setting up this GoFundMe Page to assist a member of our Church in Mexico. Paty is 23 years old with two beautiful daughters. In September, she became severely swollen with fever and had to be admitted into the hospital. During her visit, the physicians wanted to complete a biopsy of her kidneys but she contracted COVID and they were unable to complete the biopsy. She was released from the hospital and needed to schedule an appointment to see a kidney specialist and perform the biopsy. Due to the cost of the procedure, she has not been able to complete the biopsy and has been having health issues. She continues to have issues with swelling and edema. Due to limited resources, lack of health care, and her inability to work, I am setting up this GoFundMe page to help page for her medical expenses. I have attached her personal experience below. Her cost includes COVID Testing, Renal biopsy, and Nephrologist fees, Anesthesiologist, Hospitalization, bed, food, nurses, and medical utensils, and expenditure fees for sending the kidney samples to the pathologist who is located in Guadalajara.
It would be an approximate total of 40,340 pesos which is about $2020. All extra funds will be given to Paty to help with further medical expenses, procedures, or medication needed once the biopsy is completed.

Today I went to get the consultation I've been waiting for so long with the nephrologist (kidney specialist) who served me in a private clinic because there were no nephrologists available in the IMSS and they advised me so.
The nephrologist reviewed all the studies I've been doing periodically for the past 3 months and counting to find out if I'm going to need a kidney biopsy or not.
After checking all the studies and checking my medical history, and all the necessary information, He said if it's going to be necessary for me to complete a kidney biopsy. I need to get tested for Covid again to be admitted to the hospital because that is a requirement.
I'll put the prices below for each expense that will be necessary for those who like to support whatever they can, whatever is in your heart to give, I am not asking for much. I will know that it is from the heart. I wanted to pay for everything with my effort, with my work, but the truth is I can't anymore. What I earn goes straight to pay for lab studies, private inquiries, medicine, and all other expenses to live. I'm not a rich person, I do my best but I must acknowledge that this time I NEED HELP!!
Here are the prices of everything.
● Covid test:
790 pesos ($40)
● Renal biopsy and nephrologist fees: 450 dollars.
● Anesthesiologist: 5,000 pesos. ($250)
● Hospitalization, bed, food, nurses, and medical utensils: 22,000 pesos.($1,100)
● Expenditure on sending samples of kidneys to the pathologist who is in Guadalajara: 4,000 pesos. ($200)
