Medical Expenses for my father, Kalul Adam Bor

My father, Kalul Adam Bor, was involved in a car accident on February 9, 2020. My father and his friend, Nabil Shokai, who lost his life due to his injuries, were heading back to Lincoln, Nebraska from Omaha, Nebraska. The accident occurred around 8:15 pm on I-80, the car was struck while undergoing mechanical issues. The accident is still currently under investigation, the police report should be ready within a couple of weeks. Both persons did not have a heartbeat upon arrival of the paramedics. Fortunately, with CPR my father was revived so it is a miracle that he is still with us today. My father is currently in a coma at Nebraska Medical Center. He has fractures in his neck, spine, left arm, and a minor brain injury. He is currently on a ventilator to assist with his breathing, the doctors are attempting to weave him out of it as days go by to make sure he is able to verbally communicate. My father is being well taken care of at Nebraska Medical Center, I trust that the doctors and nurses will do their best to keep him progressing while in his current situation. The recovery time is unknown. He is currently undergoing surgery for his neck fractures, the doctors have to fuse his 1st and 2nd vertebrae so his neck movements will never be the same after the surgery. My father is a fighter and my family and I trust that he will sustain a full recovery, but we will let time run its course.

Please keep my father and our family in your prayers while we undergo this life-changing experience. With such trauma, it comes along with many expenses.
