Medical Emergency Knee Replacement Ortho

Hi my name is Sean. I am fundraising for medical support for my knee, anxiety, and depression. I dislocated my tibfib completely out of the joint. I ruptured my poplital artery, stretched my peroneal nerve which caused foot drop, and tore all of my ligaments. They had to do emergency surgery for the artery or I would have lost my leg. They had about an 8 hour window to fix the artery. The injury left my knee bone on bone with bad arthritis. It took 4 surgeries and 7 months before I was able to work again. Basically had to learn how to walk again. Fast forward 10 years later. My knee is completely destroyed and has extremely bad arthritis. My orthopedic says that I need a knee replacement. Unfortunately he says because of the artery damage, nerve damage, and the longevity of the knee replacements only lasting 10 to 15 years depending on how active you are, that he wants me to try to wait until I am 50 which is 6 years from now. He said every time after the first knee replacement everything is not as good as the first one. It's like making a copy of a copy of a copy basically. I had to leave my job in Florida back in December and move back in with my mom. I have filed for disability over 3 months ago and I am still waiting to get approved. I'm in touch with my case manager now so hopefully I will know something soon. I am struggling big time financially and could really use any help that I can get. A friend of mine paid for my doctor's appointment yesterday thank you God. Now I have to find some help to get my prescriptions filled. I lost my insurance when I had to leave my job in Florida. I'm going to start a GoFundMe to get some help. I need to get my prescriptions filled by tomorrow or I am going to be in a world of hurt.
