Medical Costs After HTFC Play Off Final Assault

Many of you will have already seen what happened to me at the playoff final at Wembley. I have been a loyal Town fan for 50 years.

 

I returned from helping in Ukraine for the playoff final. At half time someone in a Town shirt seriously assaulted me on the concourse. I assume he mistook me for a Forest fan and thought attacking someone with a headbutt acceptable.

My front teeth were knocked out, the roots shattered and bone fractured. I have had the initial surgery to remove the roots and one tooth that was still partially connected.

I will now have to wait 3 to 6 months to see if it is possible to have implants. I will need 3 of these at a cost of £2500 in the UK. I will also check if I am able to get them fitted in Slovakia or Ukraine for €1000 each. I have therefore put the target for this fundraiser at £2500, which is the minimum I will need to pay.

I have another assessment tomorrow where I could be fitted for dentures providing the surgery has gone to plan and the bone stable enough.
