Medical Cost for Baby Zeth

On July 5, thirteen-month-old Zethan Lloyd drowned in a swimming pool. By the time his mother was able to get him, he was dead. She was able to perform CPR while his family looked on praying with all their hearts that Mom would be able to breathe life back into their baby brother.

By the grace of God, Zeth was brought back to life through those life-saving breaths of his mother. But, the road to recovery isn't so clear. The Lloyd family is on a sabbatical living down in Costa Rica where this occurred. Baby Zeth was life-flighted to San Jose where he was put in a medical coma to reduce the swelling that is in his brain. It is unclear what exactly his state is because of this, nor will they really know anything until they are certain they can bring him out of the induced coma. He also is battling an infection in his blood in addition to all the complications from the drowning.

At this time, the Lloyd family has to pay all of the medical expenses out of pocket. Their insurance will reimburse them for the out-of-pocket expenses but only after they hit their deductible. This $10,000 is to help them through the cost of the life-saving care this thirteen-month angel is receiving. Any surplus they don't use will be either refunded or used to help other families in Costa Rica pay for their children's life-saving procedures (Zeth has two roommates who are in as bad a condition as he).
