Medical Clinic & Land to reopen MB CWRC
Tax deductible
Over the last two years Carolina Wildlife Rehabilitation Center has helped injured and orphaned wildlife in the Grand Strand, and beyond. Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit currently operates two locations, Myrtle Beach, SC & Charlotte, NC. Recently we have hit a road block, the Myrtle Beach location is currently operating out of a residence and with the high intake volume, we have officially run out of space to continue taking in more animals in need of medical care. Last year a very well known veterinary office in our area that took in wildlife discontinued their wildlife program when the main veterinarian retired, this was the only vet to help injured/orphaned wildlife in our area. The closest reputable wildlife rehabilitation centers are over an hour away from Myrtle Beach, and some are species specific. The center was started here in the Grand Strand after seeing the dire need for places to rehabilitate wildlife locally without transporting them hours away for help.
For us to continue to keep our doors open in Myrtle Beach, we need land to build a medical clinic and more enclosures to properly rehab animals so they are set up for success in the wild.
Please help our wildlife have a fighting chance to be saved and returned to their home locally by contributing toward the fundraiser to purchase land and run a facility for these animals. All of the money goes directly to the animals, we are a completely volunteer run organization, no staff are paid.
