Medical Care Mission for Kerry

Kerry Smith, my father,  became severely ill while living in Nepal. On Monday of this week, he underwent surgery which left him with four open wounds on his body. He is at great risk for a secondary infection while he waits for these wounds to heal and is without access to the sterile medical supplies and  care that is available in the United States.

Based on the nature of his surgical wounds, it is not possible to fly him home for medical care - so we are doing the next best thing... we are flying his youngest sister out to Nepal loaded up with medical supplies and instructions to help him recover.

We are asking all of those who know and love Kerry to help however you can, with funds, thoughts and prayers, in his recovery efforts.

We are hoping to raise $3,000 to cover expenses related to his initial operation and hospital stay, medical supplies and prescriptions, his sister's  flight and related traveling expenses to Nepal.

Any help you can provide to offset these unexpected expenses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your love and support of Kerry. He will make it through this stronger because of the community of people who love and care about him!
