Medical bills for Malaki

My name is Phoebe and I am the mother of a spunky 2 year old named Malaki! On 12/22/23 we went to the clinic because he wasn't feeling well and was refusing to stand and walk. We were then referred to the E.R. Finally, that night we were admitted to the children's hospital in Sioux Falls, SD for multiple heartbreaking reasons, the biggest being septic arthritis in his hip. The hospital became our family's home for the next week, making it a Christmas we would never forget. Malaki had an emergency surgery, got on antibiotics, and began the rough journey to recovery. He has gotten better since leaving the hospital, but is still not back to his rambunctious self. He will continue to use a walker and go to physical therapy until he can walk by himself. My husband and I have had to miss work to be able to be with him while in the hospital and during recovery. As a result of this unexpected event, we are having to ask for help with the medical bills. Anything, even us being in your thoughts, is appreciated.
